1. Use the format above to complete your country profile and follow it exactly as it is shown in the doucment.
2. Go to http://www.google.com. 3. Type in "CIA Factbook" and "Your Country" 4. Click on the link for CIA Factbook and your country. 5. Transfer the information from the CIA Factbook to the format. 6. Do not simply copy and paste except for the International Organization Participation section. 7. For the first country profile, section f and k will be graded leniently. For section f, you are trying to find the actual military size and not the potential number of soldiers. You will probably need to do an additional search for this. For k, the information is NOT in the CIA FACTBOOK! In order to find this number, you can find the number of doctors and/or teachers in the country and divide it by the population to get an approximate ratio such as 1:10. 8. Don't forget to include your map! 9. For the timeline, you must select TEN (10) events that are from 1980 to current. Please do not copy and paste these events! You must reword the events and summarize into a sentence or two! It can be in list or timeline form! The events must relate your COUNTRY but do not need to relate to your TOPIC. 10. If lost, e-mail [email protected] or you can ask your questions on Tuesday! 11. Due Wednesday, September 19, 2012. September 11, 2012
