Hello everyone! My name is Naima Dellawar and I will be serving as one of your Secretary Generals for the 2021-2022 school year! Entering into my 4th year of MUN, I can definitely say that I have grown and learned countless skills from this program. From researching, public speaking, and collaborating with others, MUN has taught me skills that will help me in my future endeavors, while also allowing me to learn more about pressing issues our world is currently facing. Being a part of Cerritos MUN has given me the opportunity to make so many new friendships and memories that I will never forget and will forever be grateful for.
Other than MUN, I am involved on campus through California Scholarship Federation, Girl Up, and Mu Alpha Theta. I also enjoy doing Taekwondo and have been doing the sport for the past 13 years! In my free time, I love to read, watch movies, and hang out with friends and family. I am very excited for this year and hope that everyone grows and learns as delegates while gaining experience during class and conference!

Speaking in a formal setting has helped me grow out of my comfort zone and gain confidence. Outside of MUN, I am involved in Cerritos’ Robotics and National Chinese Honor Society Club. My favorite hobbies are cooking and swimming. I also love to code, and I’ve practicing by making my own mobile applications. If anyone wants to talk about random tech stuff, feel free to DM me! I hope you all are learning a lot from MUN, since the skills we build like public speaking and researching not only serve for these conferences, but for the future ahead!

Hey everyone! My name is Jaina Doshi and I am so honored to serve as your Under-Secretary-General of Delegate Affairs for the 2021-2022 school year. As I enter my sixth year of Model UN, I can without a doubt say this program has shaped me into the leader and individual I am today. Through MUN, I have had the opportunity to strengthen my public speaking, research, debate, and collaboration skills as well as gain key lessons and qualities for my future aspirations. Debating on the various threatening global and social issues has also allowed me to become a more educated, informed, and involved citizen. Being able to serve as one of the Delegate Affairs Officers this past year has allowed me to work with so many incredible students and pass on the foundational values and principles of the program.  I am forever grateful for the countless memories, friendships, opportunities, and experiences this program has given me, and aim to hopefully have left Cerritos MUN making a positive impact.
Outside of MUN, I am also involved on campus through Cerritos Wellness, Educators Rising, Cerritos CARE (Creating Acceptance, Respect, and Equality), and Cross Country. Outside of school, you can find me baking, re-watching Disney movies, or hanging out with my best friends and family.
To all of our newcomers in the program, I know MUN can be scary and nerve-wracking at first, but I promise you will grow and foster so much through your experiences! This program has so much to offer, and I encourage every student to join. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me and I can’t wait to work with all of you this next year! :)

I am thrilled to see how you will all grow as delegates, but I will always be there to push you, guide you, and to answer your questions! With that being said, make sure to have fun in whatever you do (and be confident in your speaking abilities)!

Hi guys! My name is Emily Ahn and I’m looking forward to being one of your DAOs during the 2021-2022 school year! I hope that through this program, you guys will be able to strengthen your leadership and public speaking skills. From an underprepared freshman with no public speaking skills to now, I’m so thankful for MUN and how it helped me to become the delegate I am today. Although I was hesitant at first to join MUN, it’s safe to say that I have no regrets. Not only do you get to make many good memories during class and conferences, you’ll also be able to make many friendships through this program.
At home, I like to make jewelry for friends and family. Baking is also one of my favorite hobbies because I have a huge sweet tooth. Although I am no longer in cross country and track, I still love to go on runs while listening to music and playing badminton with my friends at parks. Some of my favorite snacks are matcha kitkats, gushers, chester fries, and strawberry pocky. If you guys have any questions or concerns about MUN, please feel free to email, DM, or text me! I know how difficult it may be in the beginning when first joining MUN, but reaching out for help will definitely be of aid to you in the long run. I’m always here and happy to help :)

Salutations besties! I’m Lauren Munda, one of your  DAOs this year! I am so excited to meet you all and get the chance to work together this school year!  This is going to be my 4th year of MUN, where I’ve been able to make amazing memories, meet new people, and improve on my writing and speaking abilities. During my first few years, my heart would beat faster during each speech (still does LOL) and I never felt confident with myself, however, with more practice and over time, I have learned to never second guess myself and just go with the flow. Other than MUN, I am a part of ASB as well as a few other clubs on campus such as Club Magkaisa, Surfrider, and CSF. Other than my hour-long naps and my binging of sitcoms, you’ll see me out with my friends, doing puzzles, or eating whatever’s in my fridge.
I know that under the circumstances we are in, it can be difficult to stay motivated, but I believe we all can persevere and overcome these new sets of challenges. So throughout the school year, if any of you have any questions whether it’s about MUN or anything in general, you can always contact me and I will do my best to give you my finest advice! See you soon, besties! :)

Off campus, my favorite activities include reading new books, writing my own stories, traveling with my family, binging the Harry Potter movies, collecting Squishmallows, and sleeping for hours.
Believe it or not, when I first started MUN, I was such an introvert who was absolutely terrified of public speaking. I know that MUN can be quite intimidating at times, and I completely understand – I was in your position once. However, I encourage you to make the most of your time in MUN, as freshman year is an opportunity to set a foundation for the rest of your MUN experience.
