Hey everyone! My name is Andrew Adachi and I am honored to be serving as one of your ‘25-‘26 Secretary Generals! I began my Model UN journey back at Carmenita Middle School (shoutout History DS!), and it has been an amazing 5 years. I almost ended up taking a different path freshman year, but I am super happy freshman me chose MUN. Some of the best memories I’ve made have come from this program, such as spending a week in New York with friends or bonding with my senior teacher at Berkeley. Even at local conferences, I enjoy making new friends, so don’t be a stranger! Outside of MUN, I am president of HOSA, secretary for our National Honor Society, tutor in our school’s Writing Center, and run for track and cross country. In my free time, I enjoy going to the gym, traveling with my friends to California’s different niches such as Seaside Bakery, trying yummy foods (I have a goal to try all of Da Vien’s menu!), and making spontaneous decisions. If there is one piece of advice I have to give to all of you regarding MUN, I would say to speak from your heart- the rest comes with it. I promise as long as you are happy, secure, and confident with yourself, it will all work out in the end, as my senior teacher once taught me. If you have any questions, concerns, or want to talk about things even outside of MUN, feel free to reach out!

Nikhita Guntupalli

My name is Nikhita Guntupalli and I am extremely honored to be serving as one of your Secretary Generals for this year. I’ve been in this program for five years now and it has truly been one of the most memorable experiences of my high school career. MUN has taught me important life skills such as learning to consider what is happening around our world today and how we can continue to approach these topics with optimism by finding solutions that are feasible and effective. But most of all, MUN has installed true confidence within myself and my speaking abilities. At the end of the day, the awards won’t matter as much as the confidence you build and the memories you create through this program. If I had one piece of advice for you all it would be to not get caught up in receiving awards. By senior year, you’ll realize that awards don’t define your worth in this program. It is your personal growth and how much you’ve developed as a speaker that truly measure your success. Outside of MUN I’m the president of the business club, president of UNICEF, and am part of ASB. I wish you all the best in your MUN journey and hope you can gain something meaningful from it like I did. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need advice or just someone to talk to!

Under Secretary-General
Krishay Sharma

Hello! My name is Krishay Sharma and I am absolutely thrilled to be an Under-Secretary General of Cerritos MUN. This is currently my sixth year in Model UN and I have learnt so much while being in the program. Although in the beginning it felt overwhelming to be introduced to the various processes in an MUN conference, in the end it was completely worth it. Through MUN I developed numerous friendships and had countless unforgettable experiences with others. Apart from MUN I am involved in clubs such as UNICEF as president, HOSA, and MAZA. I enjoy listening to Travis Scott, the Weeknd, and Drake and play waterpolo. I also love going to the beach, spending time with friends, and can always go for a late night drive. From preparing late night for conferences to exploring New York City at NHSMUN, Model UN has been worth it every step of the way. This program allowed for my confidence to increase with each and every conference I participated in and only allowed me to be more vocal not only in a formal setting but also about issues that mattered to me personally. MUN completely changed my high school experience, not only setting me up to learn about global issues and diplomatic communications but also allowing me to carry a powerful voice into the future with lasting friendships. |

Hello everyone! My name is Nevyl Panicker and I am honored to be entering my fourth and final year in CHSMUN as Under Secretary General. When I first joined, I had no clue what to expect, but I am immensely thankful to my freshman self for making that decision. Outside of MUN, I swing rackets as part of the Varsity Tennis team and serve as Secretary for the Class of 2026. I love listening to music and some of my favorite artists include Drake, The Weeknd and Rihanna. I enjoy traveling, especially abroad, with friends & family and always down for a boba run or trip to the beach. Over the past three years, Model UN has become an integral part of my high school experience and has truly shaped me into the person I am today. From long nights of research to the adrenaline of debate, every conference has brought something new to learn. No matter how experienced you are, MUN will always push you outside your comfort zone. It has opened my eyes to global issues, creative solutions and friendships that I know I will carry in the future. I’m incredibly grateful for the community and skills this program has given me, and I hope it does the same for you. |

Hey guys! My name is Michael Dang, and I can't wait to spend my fourth year in Model United Nations as the USG of Technology. I honestly I can't believe I'm going into my senior year and my fourth year in MUN when it feels like I'm still a freshmen still beginning my journey. But, from my four years in MUN it has developed my confidence, speaking skills, and collaborations amongst others. Some other things that I do outside of MUN is that I love Valorant, I love listening to Jasontheween, I love seaside, I love Davien, and I want a Jakura. Overall, I can't wait to spend my last year as the USG of Tech and hit me up if you need help ;). |
DELEGATE AFFAIRS OFFICERS
Jenny Yi
Contact: [email protected]
Hi everyone! My name is Jenny Yi, and I am extremely excited to be one of your DAOs this year. When I started my MUN journey, my freshman year, I had no idea what this class was. My middle school had no Model United Nations program, but I heard you travel, and that was enough to convince me. However, my skills in public speaking were terrible; I had no idea what I was doing, and I was terrible at writing speeches. If you were to ask me about my first MUN conference, I would say one word: disaster. Luckily, with the experiences I had plus amazing teachers, IAs, and DAOs that guided me through everything, I am in this position right now. You can find me at the writing center, where I can help you with your essays or maybe even speeches. I will try my absolute best to be a DAO that could help anyone who feels a little lost in this big world of MUN. Please don’t be afraid to reach out to me for even the smallest of questions. I would love to answer them all!

Hi guys! I’m so excited to be one of your Delegate Affair Officers this year! MUN has helped me boost my confidence, people skills, and knowledge of current events in a fun and interactive way. Outside of MUN, I am on the tennis team, president of Latinos Unidos, and an active member of Spanish Club. In my free time, I enjoy playing video games, reading, crocheting, and talking about airplanes. If you ever have any last-minute conference questions or need help preparing or drafting speeches, feel free to reach out through text or email. My freshman year, I was hesitant to ask for help, and it made my conference experiences much more stressful. So remember, you’re never a bother, and we’re here to help!

Hey delegates! My name is Eshan, and I’m so grateful to be one of your DAOs this year. I’ve been a part of MUN for the last three years, and it has been one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had. MUN has been a huge part of my life, from getting to meet new people, spending time with friends, and being able to learn from upperclassmen (especially my IAs). My one piece of advice for people who struggle with speaking or feel that MUN isn’t for them is to keep persevering! Hard work beats talent every time, and I promise if you put your mind to it, you can improve in ways you never would have imagined. Outside of MUN, I love spending time with friends, family, and my dog! I also enjoy trying new foods and playing horror games with my friends. I’m so excited to be in a position where I can guide you delegates into becoming the best versions of yourselves, so please don’t hesitate to reach out for anything at all! I’d love to pass down the advice that was given to me to all of you guys!!

Hey everyone! My name is Anushka Zumale, and I’m honored to serve as one of your DAOs this year. If there’s one place you’ll always find me, it’s near the ocean, I’ve always loved the water, whether it’s swimming, surfing, sailing, or diving. That same love for exploring the unknown is what first drew me to international relations. MUN has become the space where I’ve been able to channel that passion by delving into global issues, debating diplomacy, and learning how to advocate for meaningful change. I aspire to become an attorney specializing in international law, and through this role, I hope to support and inspire younger delegates as they navigate their own MUN journeys and discover the impact their voices can have!
