My name is Khushi Sharma, and I am so excited to be your Director for the World Health Organization Committee. From my first topic six years ago regarding disease outbreaks to the most recent involving pharmaceuticals in the environment, the World Health Organization has held a key role in my MUN journey! Like many of you, I was scared to be public speaking for the first time, especially about topics I had no idea about. But as I grew in my MUN journey, I can say that it has all been worth it! I am much more of a confident speaker and have been able to meet so many amazing friends, an experience I hope many of you will share. Outside of MUN, I am involved in UNICEF, CSF, HOSA, and the girl’s Water Polo team. I enjoy listening to music sometimes creating my own, and reading various books, mainly in fiction, biographical, and historical fiction genres. I understand how difficult and intimidating MUN can be, but I encourage everyone to try their very best to learn along the way. As I learned in my first year of MUN, debate does not always have to be stressful! While it is essential to immerse yourself in the content, remember to give it your all and have fun! As always, make sure to try your best, and maybe make some friends along the way. Best of luck to you all. :)
