Hi everyone! My name is Alisha and I'm very excited to be your director for UNESCAP! I first joined MUN when I was in seventh grade and am so happy I decided to continue with the program. Despite how much work preparing for conferences may be, I take great joy in learning about global pressing issues in sustainability, education, security, and health care. However, what I love most about MUN is the irreplaceable memories that I had the opportunity to share with my friends. Words cannot express how grateful I am for this program and how much it has shaped me as a person over these past few years. Outside of MUN you will find me reading books, volunteering, baking, hanging out with friends, and listening to music. Some of my favorite artists are Taylor Swift, SZA, and Gracie Abrams. I am also very active in other extracurricular activities at my school such as NHS, Octagon, and CSF. Although I do consider myself as an introvert, I am not afraid to socialize and make new friends. That being said, feel free to reach out if you ever have any questions! I cannot wait to meet you all and I hope to see an enthusiastic and collaborative committee with diverse and creative solutions.
