Hey delegates and welcome to Fall Conference this year! My name is Varshitha Kedila and I’m a senior at Cerritos High. This will be my third year in Model UN, I know, I’m a late bloomer, but nevertheless MUN has given me the chance to break out of my shell and improve as a delegate and I hope it does the same for you. I even had the once in a lifetime opportunity of attending NHSMUN 2019, and with the other conferences I’ve been to, I’d say MUN has been an incredibly life changing experience for me. Outside of MUN, I’m involved on my school’s varsity badminton team, marching band, and various clubs such as HOSA and Octagon. I also really enjoy watching Netflix and am currently in love with Criminal Minds (sadly I’m only on season 2 out of 14). But anyways, last fall conference, I was an assistant moderator and am more than excited to be your chair for UN Women this year. I cannot wait to see what all of you bring to debate and wish you the best of luck!
