My name is Jonathan and I'm so ecstatic to be your director for NATO! This will be my 4th year of Model United Nations, which I will say was one of the best decisions that I have ever made. With topics such as neocolonialism, corrupt government reform, as well as weapon disarmament, being in MUN has opened up my mind into exploring different career options. Being able to strengthen my research skills, public speaking abilities, leadership skills, and many many more that come with participation in MUN, I am extremely appreciative of the program and its attempts to better myself as a delegate and as a person. Outside of MUN, I am involved in many clubs and extracurriculars, serving as president of Key Club, Surfrider, vice president for Octagon, as well as holding leadership positions in clubs such as our mental health club, leadership club, Jesus club, and NHS. Additionally, I am on both the basketball and volleyball teams, which I enjoy very much. Outside of school, I indulge in sports photography (@jhgflicks on Instagram!), which I have found great interest in recent years. Additionally, I love going to concerts and music festivals, some of which include Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Yeat, TWICE, Taylor Swift, and Head in the Clouds to name a few.
