My name is Anushka Zumale, and I am extremely honored to be serving as the director of the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) committee. Through innovative thinking, collaboration, and solutions, I am certain that you all will bring something unique and special to the committee. I have been in MUN for four years now, and have attended roughly 10 conferences, including UCLAMUN, BruinMUN, and National High School MUN. Through this program, I have gained so many more friends, skills, and memories that I can count, and I am beyond grateful to be a part of your MUN journey as well! I have served as Cerritos High School’s Director of Affairs Officer and Head Delegate for our school’s national MUN competition at NHSMUN, both positions that have taught me patience, confidence, and valuable leadership skills. Outside of MUN, if there’s one place you’ll always find me, it’s at the beach. Surfing is by far my favorite hobby, and this year will mark my eighth year as a competitive surfer! During the summers, I work at Catalina Island as a lifeguard and watersports instructor, where I have the privilege of working with Boy Scouts at Emerald Bay. I’m also a major foodie, and I love eating seafood boils, calamari, and steak! Beyond my hobbies and interests, I am actively involved in school activities. I am the president of CHS Girl Up, in ASB, and a pole vaulter in track! My goal in life is to travel the world and pursue a career in international law. I find passion and drive in everything I do, and I am thrilled to see you all deliver that same passion during committee! |
