My name is Nevyl Panicker and I’m so excited to be your co-director for UNODC! I am currently a senior at Cerritos High School and also the Under Secretary General of Delegate Affairs for our MUN program. One of my favorite conferences I’ve attended was NHSMUN in New York, where I got to collaborate with delegates from across the globe. It was an unforgettable experience that reminded me that even though we all come from different backgrounds, we can still bond over international policy and diplomacy. Outside of MUN, I swing rackets as part of the Varsity Tennis team and serve as Secretary for the Class of 2026. I love channeling my inner Steph Curry on the basketball court, strumming the guitar and hanging out with friends. I love listening to music and some of my favorite artists include Drake, The Weeknd and Rihanna. I enjoy traveling, especially abroad, with friends and family (now accepting generous donations for the #SendNevylToFrance fund) and always down for a boba run or trip to the beach. I can't wait to see all of you engage in thought-provoking debate, tackle global challenges, and maybe even make a few new friends along the way. Let’s make this an amazing committee experience full of diplomacy, creativity, and just the right amount of chaos!!

I’m Riya Srivastav, and I’m thrilled to be your Co-Director for UNODC. I’m currently a senior at Cerritos High School participating in my fourth year of Model UN. MUN might be scary at first, even intimidating, but through this program I have found my life long friends and strengthened my speaking, researching, and “people” skills. I’ve made my best memories in high school with the people in my MUN class. The bond you have with these people: whether it be practicing speeches during class, researching at midnight on facetime, going to go get food after a long day of debate, or sleeping on shoulders in the bus; it’s a bond you won’t find anywhere else. I had the privilege of attending Nationals MUN in New York and I can assure you it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I got to do many cool things like ice skate in Central Park, watch Wicked on Broadway, and meet former president Joe Biden. While you may face hardships in this program sometimes, remember, don’t steal the struggle! I understand how complex this topic is but look forward to debate! I’ve had a lot of ups and downs during the conference and I urge you guys to learn something new, either about yourself as a delegate or about MUN, each and every conference you all participate in. During or before the committee, don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions and make sure to put in your 100%! I look forward to clever speeches, creative discussion, and non-chat gpt solutions!
