My name is Jenny Yi, and I am looking forward to being your director for UNODC! I am now entering my fourth year of Model UN, and I am so excited to chair the same committee that started my whole MUN career. Before this program, I was extremely shy, and my biggest fear was public speaking. However, this program has given me countless opportunities to strengthen and develop skills I never thought were possible for me. I have made countless fond memories with my MUN class and have met so many amazing people across the globe. My favorite memories of high school consist of so many MUN activities, like going to New York for NHSMUN or going to Berkeley and traveling without my family. Outside of MUN, I love hanging out with my friends. I always find myself gravitating towards the beach or the pool, which is ironic because I can’t swim properly. However, I love the sunny weather here in California, so if I'm not swimming, I'm definitely tanning. I also love eating spicy food. My favorites are Diniamitas, Tabasco hot sauce, and any type of spicy ramen. I have big dreams to travel the world and meet new people. I can’t wait to see everyone in committee with creative hooks and solutions! Don’t feel too nervous or scared! This is an amazing opportunity to learn and grow into a better delegate and meet new friends. |
