My name is Hemanshu Budamagunta, and I have been involved in Model United Nations for 4 years, and throughout my experience I have grown significantly as both a speaker and a leader. MUN has taught me how to think critically, communicate effectively, and work with others to solve complex global problems. Over the years, I have attended many conferences that challenged me to step outside my comfort zone, and those experiences helped me gain confidence both inside and outside of the committee. Outside of MUN, I enjoy going to the gym, playing video games, and hiking. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family, exploring new places, and staying involved in school activities. I believe that maintaining a balance between academics, extracurriculars, and personal interests is extremely important, and I encourage all delegates to enjoy the conference experience while learning as much as possible. I encourage all delegates to take risks, participate actively, and remember that the best committees are built through collaboration, confidence, and respectful debate. |
