Hi, I’m Tanisha Batta, and some things I like to do outside of MUN include playing badminton on our school’s team, playing with my sister, and watching loads of movies and shows. The ones I watched most recently were Twisters and Only Murders in the Building. I thought they were good, but think that I’ve seen better. I also love to read books of all genres as well and don’t like reading nonfiction books at all. I’m obsessed with mint, so you might catch me chewing gum or eating mint chip ice cream. At school I’m on the board of five clubs including Book Club, Junior Optimists, JSA, Spanish Club, and Scientists of the Future. I also am continuing my interests in pharmaceutical sciences and hope to take a National Certification Exam in March. I also want to pursue some sort of legislative work in the future, so I am currently doing internships on the campaigns of certain politicians. Even though I am working with one political party, I love to hear all sides of government policy and consider myself an independent. My interest in legislation and government doesn’t limit itself to the United States too, I love to learn about other countries as well. This may be due to my love of trying different foods as well. If the world was great I’d rather spend my time rotting in bed forever eating good food, with a good latte, reading a nice book, but I guess it doesn’t work like that. Ultimately, my biggest hope for this year is that senior year goes well, and that I can get into a good university |
