Hello Delegates! My name is Jane Morrison, and I am so excited to be your Director for UN Habitat! With 2022 marking my fourth year in Model United Nations, I have had the immense privilege of discussing relevant issues that affect our Earth on a global scale. Joining MUN in freshman year has been one of the most rewarding decisions I have ever made. Not only did it increase my speaking, research, and writing skills immensely, but it also provided me with a platform to discuss world issues that I am passionate about. Most importantly, it provided me with life-lasting memories with friends that I will forever cherish. Whether it was attending my first-ever conference, staying up with friends to memorize speeches, missing the bus to a conference, or attending a National trip to New York, I am so so grateful for the opportunities MUN has provided for me over the years.
On campus, you will find me involved in multiple clubs, including CSF, NHS, You&Me, and Surfrider. Off-campus, you may find me jamming out with my friends, enjoying a picnic outside with my cat, going on spontaneous late-night drives, or listening to my favorite artists such as Frank Ocean and Steve Lacy. I also really enjoy traveling, especially to places with pretty nature. I cannot wait to see everyone during committee! Best of luck!
