     My name is Ellen Kim, and I am excited to be your Director for the OHCHR Committee! In this committee, we will be working towards combating child labor faced by millions in developing countries. I have been in the MUN program for four years now, and I have a deep passion for humanitarian topics such as this. MUN has played such a big part in helping me grow in my high school career. From learning how to speak in public to making new friends, this program has given me so many opportunities that I would not have had otherwise.
    Even though going to MUN conferences might seem intimidating at first, I hope this committee will be a fun and educational experience for you. Don’t be too afraid of making mistakes, and raise your placard! Everyone makes mistakes at the start, but there is a lot of room for learning and growth in this committee. I can’t wait to meet you all. Best of luck!

     I’m Ethan Zechariah, and it is an honor to be your Co-Diretor for OHCHR this year at the Cerritos MUN conference! This is my 4th year in MUN, and in this time, I have had so much fun learning about world issues, meeting new people, and building my confidence in speaking and researching capabilities. I truly value the lessons and experiences that MUN has given me. Most notably, the Nationals' trip to New York in my Junior year was really unforgettable!
    I can’t wait to meet all of you and see what you have to say in committee! Remember to always remain confident at all times–no one is judging you more than yourself! Above all, however, have fun! Try your best, and give it your all. Good luck, delegate!
