My name is Sai Vaddella, and I am super excited to be your Director for the International Maritime Organization committee! This is my fourth year in MUN, and I’m proud to say this program has helped me grow in research, public speaking, confidence, and understanding real-world issues. I’ve been able to explore many different global problems through MUN, and each one has helped me become a stronger delegate and leader. I hope you all come prepared, study this topic in detail, and bring creative solutions to the committee. Most importantly, I hope we can have a committee that is productive, engaging, and genuinely fun. Outside of MUN, I stay involved as the president of the Business and Economics Club and the boys' varsity basketball team, where I serve as captain. I am also a black belt in jiu-jitsu, so I’ve always enjoyed activities that push me to improve and compete. In my free time, I like going to the gym, hanging out with my friends, trying unique food spots, and going on spontaneous late-night plots. I also enjoy overnight camping and experiencing new cultures, especially through food and the people I meet.
