My name is Prisha Desai, and I am going to be your director for the International Maritime Organization. Overall, I’ve always been fond of the ocean and animals, so I’m so excited to be a chair of this committee and can’t wait to see how this conference goes! I am a senior at Cerritos High School, and this is going to be my 5th year in MUN. I’ve always loved to learn about current global issues affecting our society, and MUN has been a great way to enhance and foster my skills in both learning and speaking. It has allowed me to learn so much about the world and form my own views on many of the world’s most controversial issues. Aside from MUN, in my free time, I also play the piano and am involved in HOSA, Maza South Asian Club, and the American Cancer Society at CHS! I love to spend time with my friends and family and watch movies with them too! When I’m not doing that, I like to swim or play volleyball at the beach! I am so excited to meet all of you and am interested in your solutions and research for this conference! Don’t be afraid to speak up and talk about your solutions and please let me know if I can help with anything!
