Hello Delegates, My name is Stephanie Wu, and I am so happy to be your director for the ILO committee! As it is a very relevant topic currently, I am excited to see the research you’ve put in on how to protect migrant workers and refugees globally. I have been in the MUN program for about 4 years now, making mistakes, winning awards, and most importantly having FUN. Take this unique opportunity to expand your confidence, public speaking skills, leadership, creativity, and friendships. Outside MUN, I serve as President for Cerritos High School’s Taiwanese Club, Director of activities for both CSF and the Business & Economics Club, Class Committee Secretary, and as a volunteer at the Aquarium of the Pacific, where I’ve collaborated with diverse groups, organized community events, and helped share and experience my passions. I love reading (murder mysteries), writing, movies, and card games—UNO anyone? Late-night drives and beach days with a perfect playlist for every occasion. Personal Motto: Work hard, play harder, and you know, I work pretty hard... I absolutely adore traveling, you name it. I’ve been there. London, Paris, Tokyo, New York, Shanghai, etc... eating all the new foods there and meeting new people. I hope you’ve learned a lot about me, and I hope to learn a lot about you all! Whether this is your first, second, third, or fourth year in MUN, I encourage you to make the most of it—ask questions, challenge yourself, support one another, and don’t be afraid to take risks. MUN isn’t just about resolutions and speeches; it’s about growing as individuals and having a genuinely great time doing it. If you ever need help, have questions, or just want to chat, don’t hesitate to reach out to me during committee or outside of it. I’m here to support you however I can.
