My name is Theodore Kim, and I'm so excited to be your director for the General Assembly Committee for the 2022 Fall Cerritos Conference. This is going to be my 6th year in MUN, as I started in middle school, and am really grateful for the opportunities provided to me by the program. During my time in MUN, I was able to develop my research skills, public speaking, leadership skills, and many more that come with participating in MUN, and am super grateful for the program and its efforts to improve me as a delegate. The topics at hand, the Israel/Palestine Territorial Disputes and the Crisis in Hong Kong, were chosen by me due to the impact that this topic will have, in regards to both the stability of the region and the impact it will have on global geopolitics, and I’m looking forward to the creative and innovative solutions that you as a delegate will come up with.
Outside of the classroom, you can find me in the swimming pool nearly 24/7, training for my next swim competition, or at home, listening to R&B, watching Netflix shows such as Community and Designated Survivor, or wrapped under a thick blanket reading a thick book. I also like to hang out with my friends outside regardless of the location, whether it be the beach, or the library, or even at home playing video games.
No human being is exactly the same, and because of that, I’m looking forward to hearing a wide variety of creative and distinct solutions in committee. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me!
