My name is Eshan Patil, and I’m incredibly excited to serve as your director for the ECOFIN committee! I am now in my fourth year of MUN, and I have to say that my time in this program has truly been one of the most rewarding experiences. I now serve as the Under Secretary-General of Cerritos High School, and I am ecstatic to run this committee as a senior. MUN has not only allowed me to meet some of my closest friends today, but also develop my leadership skills and gain confidence in a way that no other opportunity would have allowed. Outside of MUN, I’m the president of our school’s UNICEF club, an active Boy Scout, and love trying new (vegetarian) foods! In my free time, you can find me playing pickleball, going on hikes, or reading new novels. My favorite television show is without a doubt The Office, and I’m always open to new music recommendations. I also deeply love Minecraft and this game called Sneaky Sasquatch. As we head into committee, I want to remind you to be confident in yourself and your own abilities. It may be difficult at first, but treat every opportunity as a learning experience to improve your skills.
