My name is Min Kim, and I’m very excited to be your director for CSTD! Fun fact, CSTD is the committee I participated in during my first-ever MUN conference. I am currently in my 4th year in MUN, and I’m proud to say that this program has provided me with so many opportunities to make new friends and improve my speaking skills. Initially, I was skeptical because I’m such an introverted and quiet person, but MUN has helped me immensely with public speaking, and I’ve genuinely come to love it. Outside of MUN, I’m a part of our school’s Link Crew, and I volunteer for the Cerritos Library. I also enjoy a variety of things like reading, crocheting, listening to music, and watching TV shows in my free time. I know MUN can be extremely challenging and nerve-racking at times, I’ve felt that way many times before too. But it can also be very rewarding, and in my opinion, there’s truly no better feeling in MUN than putting in the work researching and being able to share everything you’ve put together during your speeches and discussions with others. Also, as you engage in debate with other delegates, don’t forget to have fun as well! If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact me and I’ll try to help you all to the best of my ability. Good luck and I look forward to seeing you all at the conference!
