My name is Allan Woolley, and I’m honored to be your Director for the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice (CCPCJ). This program has offered me the opportunity that most programs can’t offer, a program where I can have genuine FUN. I plan to share the same experience that I had my Freshman and Sophomore years with all of you. Outside of MUN I’m an extremely active guy. Cross Country, Swimming, Track, essentially every aerobic sport you can think of, I do it. Additionally, I’m currently a Life Scout working towards my Eagle Scout rank. Being in the Computer Science Pathway I’m also highly interested in computers, partially the reason why I’m building my own over the summer. These experiences have taught me a truth that I hold, that perseverance is the greatest tool someone can have, and that doing the impossible starts with thinking “I’m possible”. Something that I want all of you to take away from this conference. In my free time you can find me reading books, Malcolm Gladwell being one of my favorite authors. I also love humor and comedians, (Fluffy, ifykyk). I’m also a massive traveler and foodie, (according to my friends I'm the biggest back), spots like San Marzano’s in New York, Pastéis de Belém in Portugal, and Giovanii’s in Hawaii, if you’re ever in the area I couldn’t give better recommendations. Speaking of Portugal, I’m half-Portuguese on my mom's side. Most important, I’m just a chill guy and love a good committee where delegates can both smile and maintain productivity. |
