My name is Tianna Nguyen and I am thrilled to be your Director for the CCPCJ committee! I’m excited to work alongside all of you and tackle the complexities of illegal digital markets. This topic is relevant to today’s world, where technology is advancing faster than legislation can keep up. I can’t wait to hear everyone’s innovative and creative solutions. This upcoming year marks my third year in the MUN program, and I’m especially excited to debate this topic, as it was the focus of my first conference when I began my MUN journey! MUN has helped me step out of my comfort zone and grow my public speaking, research, and leadership skills. I’ve made a lot of close friends in MUN along the way and am thrilled to continue these fun and memorable experiences my senior year. Outside of MUN, I volunteer at a Vietnamese Cultural Center as a teaching assistant. For the past two years, I’ve helped teach young students the Vietnamese language and culture. Through this experience, it has taught me a lot about patience and communication. I also enjoy playing the piano, something I’ve been learning for nearly nine years now. It helps me destress and teaches me persistence through all of my practice sessions. Recitals have always brought me a lot of adrenaline, similar to when I have to give my speeches in MUN.
