My name is Zabir Rahman, and I am honored to be given the opportunity to be your Director for the Disarmament and International Security Committee. I have complete faith in all of you and remember when I first joined MUN, back in sophomore year. Ever since, I have truly grown to love MUN and hope that you will find the same appreciation for MUN as I have come to find. Throughout my MUN experience, I have faced many challenges, from difficult negotiations to harsh opposition, but time and time again I have been delighted to find the challenge and the process of debating solutions extremely exciting. MUN has truly taught me to be more confident in my speaking skills, something that I am sure every one of you will find through time as well, along with being able to find deeper understanding in others and their issues. Besides MUN, however, I frequently enjoy going on side quests with friends and family. From randomly finding niche hiking spots to pulling up to the most random events with friends, I am completely someone that loves exploring and adventure. I am looking forward to our time together and wish you the best of luck. |
